Building Virtual Identity
WORK IN PROGRESS

An Archive of Interferences
Building a digital identity is not about permanent monuments; it is about the responsibility of abandonment. It is an evolving manifesto, appearing only through the act of archiving. It is the trace we leave while in transit.
I work within the friction of the failure of survival:
- THE CLEAN TRACE (the polished, censored, institutional image)
- THE ROUGH TRACE (the raw, ethical interference of the real)
This space is a local accessibility experiment. It is a system for sharing consent, where the gaze is never neutral. Every link and every image is an ethical interference—a conscious choice to exist in the grey noise of the web without being silenced by it.-------------------

Note on Practice
My goal is not to "design" a fixed identity but to let it emerge through action. I believe in searching for the "difference that makes a difference" (Bateson). My traces must "feel" in order to "know" (Damasio): I don’t look for perfection, but for the friction between the body and the code. Like white holes (Rovelli), what I archive is matter bouncing from the past to create new meanings in the present. I explore "immense worlds" (Yong), rejecting the easy trap of forced consensus (Wu Ming 1).

Commute Home

Censored shots from a daily commute.
- Rebellions
- Abuse
- Death
- Erasure
- Immigration
- Dreaming of Ghirri
Everything in a harmless walk home."These fragments are not gathered from distant battlegrounds, but from the cracks of the everyday.
They prove that the most urgent stories—rebellions, losses, and silent erasures—are already there, hidden in the grey noise of the commute.
It is the realization that the world doesn’t happen elsewhere; it unfolds entirely within the stretch of an ordinary path.
In these shadows, I recognize myself: I am the street, I am the things I look at."

Peephole

Let yourself be carried by the wind, like pollen.
Wandering through the woods with the intent to get lost for an indefinite time. Observing the world through a peephole.

Microscope photo of pollen.
Taken during research at the Department of Palynology at the University of Modena UNIMORE.

Peephole is an immersive performing art project exploring espionage, intimacy, and the shift of perspective. Inspired by the mechanics of voyeurism and the allure of hidden narratives, this collection of autonomous experiences confronts the audience with the raw sensation of watching and being watched.
The core mechanism is not spectacle, but the unexpected. Through interactive installations and multimedia fragments, Peephole challenges the boundaries of private experience, reflecting on autonomy, control, and the invisible limits of the gaze.

Intima Herbariae

A collection of imaginary plants that allowed me to explore the theme of memory
—its fragility and its significance in our daily emotional lives.
Each “plant” captures the memory and vision of a specific personal moment that took place this winter. The structure of each entry resembles a traditional herbarium, following a unique taxonomy created specifically for this occasion. All the botanical material used in these compositions was gathered at the site of each event immediately after it occurred.

At times, the compositions evoke insects or mythical creatures, as if they were manifestations of a Genius Loci. I imagine returning to those places at those exact moments, watching these animated botanical beings hopping here and there. I imagine their calls, their scent...I hope this project offers you a gentle space for reflection on the theme of memory. I am thrilled to share this work with you and hope it sparks deep and thought-provoking conversation. Thank you, as always, for your time and attention.

ATN.com

A digital pulse of a theatrical resistance.
An online diary mapping the occupation of two derelict cinemas in Modena, documenting a season of artistic rebellion and its eventual end by police force.
The site was a narrative tool with and for the occupiers and the city

The Story: A 2017 collective movement that activated the entire city, occupying two abandoned cinemas. The End: Both spaces were eventually cleared by police.Legacy: Today, one of the buildings is being converted by Panini (the sticker brand) into a food museum/restaurant.The Human Trace: I still cross paths with the people from those days at local protests.
